I feel like I live in a constant state of chaos! As soon as I sit down and feel like I can have a few moments to myself, I quickly realize that was a far fetched thought! Typically, when I sit down to the computer to write a much needed, lapsed blog entry...I look down and see my baby girl tugging at my leg making noises at me. Ultimately, she is much more important than any of the things I need to accomplish during the day. She is my biggest accomplishment. My time with her is the most precious. There will come a day sooner than I'd like, when she is no longer going to be tugging at my leg needing me anymore and I am going to be wondering where all that time that I wish I had has gone.
I once read a quote that sums up my life right now and I think that it is a good quote to live your life by in the moment and always.
"The key is in not spending time, but in investing it."-- Stephen R. Covey.
It's what you put into the time that you have--as little as it may be, that makes life worth living. These days, I often sit and reflect upon the last year of my life and how it has changed DRAMATICALLY. I still can't believe that this little girl is mine, ALL MINE. No matter how crazy life may get, I will always look at this face and realize how blessed I am. I realize that someday I will be able to better organize my life and feel less stressed--but right now, I will never get this time back and it is necessary to seize every moment I have with her! You do not realize how quickly time passes until you have a child and you see the changes in them, especially within the first year of life. Each day is a new day, a new discovery and a new adventure!
I am going to attempt to be better at blogging, but if I don't have time then it's because I have something more important to do! :)
