Mommy Monday thought of the day (10/10/11)

I know I am a day late on this post, but this is how my blogging will probably be every now and again--a day or two late, but my goal is to at least get them in all within the same week and eventually get them in the same day. 

Anyways...my baby girl is at a stage in her life where she is very aware of what is going on around her and just keeps changing every day. She is quickly becoming her own little person and it is incredible and fun to watch! What I love about her now is that she NEEDS her mama, and I don't know how long that is going to last--so I am going to take advantage of it while I can!! Last night, she was fussy and crying and tired, so I brought over her boppy, positioned her perfectly on it and we just stared at each other. It immediately calmed her down and we gazed at each other until she softly fell asleep in my arms. I love that RIGHT now, I am her security blankie!! I hope that never changes, no matter how old she gets!!
